Describing itself as “a shady place for sunny people,” is a well-established Tiki bar in downtown Bakersfield. Across the road is its basement bar, The Sinking Ship Room, offering a nautical theme, designed and built by Tiki Diablo and Jorge “Spongie” Reyes. An explorers club meets every Tuesday, while Mug Club Wednesdays is a chance to bring your favourite tiki mug and enjoy discounts.
